Healthy Dark Chocolate and Coconut Dessert Sauce
Makes about 1 cup
Drizzle over organic berries or frozen yogurt or serve as a dip with sliced bananas, chunks of fresh pineapple and grapes.
8 ounces dark chocolate, roughly chopped
1 cup organic coconut milk
Slowly melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler until smooth; remove from the heat. Meanwhile, put coconut milk into a small pot and bring just to a boil over medium heat. Set aside off of the heat to cool slightly then add to chocolate and gently stir until smooth and well combined.
Serve sauce warm or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. To reheat, gently warm the sauce in the top of a double boiler.
